Minister says Kamaz to start making Euro 6 tractor trucks in Nov

MOSCOW, Jul 21 (PRIME) -- Kamaz will start to produce tractor trucks Mercedes Actros of the Euro 6 class in the city of Naberezhnye Chelny in November, Industry and Trade Minister Denis Manturov told reporters on Tuesday.

"The launch of this model will allow Russian international carriers to use a local tractor unit for international transportation and pay no extra road toll for the use of Euro 5 and lower environment class vehicles," he said.

The Industry and Trade Ministry said in a statement that the trucks meet the local production priority rules.
